THREE things you didn’t know GREEN TEA was good for:
1. DNA – A British Journal of Nutrition study found that people who drank 300 ml daily for a month has a 20% reduction in DNA damage.
2. Acne – Green tea adjusts the over production of hormones that increase sebum.
3. Skin Cancer – the US National Cancer institute is researching it as a preventative.
So when you reach for a cup of coffee or tea this winter, why not substitute 1 or 2 a day for a green tea and you’ll be getting loads of benefits including lots of antioxidants. Just remember not to have it late in the evening, as it does have caffeine in it which may keep you awake.
