Beetroot juice

Recipe: antioxidant beetroot juice

This antioxidant juice is high in beta carotene, vitamins A, B, C & K, potassium, and has ingredients which help to lower blood pressure and regulate blood sugar levels. Drink it first thing in the morning, or add to a glass jar/bottle and sip on over the course of your day.

Ingredients:

2 carrots

2 celery sticks

1 ¼ knob ginger

1 medium beetroot (peeled)

Handful of mint leaves

Juice ½ lemon

Method:

Juice all ingredients through a quality juice extractor, or blend in a high-powered blender. Serve chilled.
