This green smoothie recipe is one of the many included in our Melbourne Wellness Detox package. It can be adapted to suit your tastes and is a great way to kickstart your health goals. Experiment with using different green leafy vegetables (e.g. silverbeet, parsley, bok choy, kale, endive, watercress), fruits (berries, orange, pear, grapefruit - limit to 1 piece only) and superfoods (spirulina, chlorella, cacao powder, goji berries, hemp seeds).
Ingredients:

1 handful of spinach

1 handful dandelion greens

½ cucumber

1-2 sticks of celery

Juice of ½ lemon

½ green apple
-
½ banana

1 cup of water, coconut water or coconut kefir

¼ avocado or 1 TBS nut butter

Optional add ins: soaked chia seeds, fresh ginger, turmeric, or mint

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until well combined. Enjoy!
